Methodology and disclosures
A plain-English description of what TraderCove publishes, how it is ranked, and what the numbers do—and do not—mean.
The pipeline, end to end
Every trading day the system scores actively-traded U.S. stocks across lanes (momentum, trend, fundamentals, analyst context), and six analyst lenses read the strongest names. The strongest setups are published as signals with entry, stop, target, and time horizon stamped at publish time; those levels are frozen and never edited afterward. Each night, code — not judgment — grades every signal against its own frozen levels as a win, a loss, or an expiration, and the result stays public permanently. The track record shows every resolved call with its percentage move, R multiple, and holding period, plus performance against the S&P 500 — with sample sizes stated on every average.
One universal research product
TraderCove publishes impersonal research. A given ranked list, score, signal, or analysis is the same for every reader; it is not adjusted for your holdings, income, goals, age, or risk tolerance. We do not manage money, connect to a broker to place trades, or execute orders.
How names are ranked
The system screens the covered U.S. stock universe and ranks candidates within separate lanes. Depending on the lane, inputs may include valuation, financial quality and growth, price trend and momentum, volatility, liquidity, catalysts, news, analyst-estimate context, and technical support or resistance. Weights and data availability can differ by lane. Scores are comparative research summaries—not probabilities, price guarantees, or claims that a security will outperform.
Signals, levels, and AI text
Signals apply published rules to market data and may include an entry zone, invalidation, stop, target, and time horizon. These are model outputs, not instructions. Some explanations are generated or summarized by language models from market context. AI output can be incomplete, stale, or wrong; verify important facts independently.
Track record
The public track record includes resolved winners and losers. It is graded forward from the terms published with a signal rather than deleting inconvenient outcomes. Open ideas are not treated as wins. Results can be affected by delayed data, gaps, liquidity, taxes, fees, and the difference between a model level and an executable fill. Historical and backtested results do not predict future performance.
Data and conflicts
Market and company data comes from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or corrected later. TraderCove does not accept payment from issuers to place a stock in a ranked lane. If a material sponsorship or ownership conflict is ever introduced, it will be disclosed near the affected research.
